FOREST, VA --- The Athletic Department of Cal State San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) will be venturing even further into the world of "cybersports" with the launch of The Cougars Online.

Athletic Director Dr. Steve Nichols, in making the announcement, noted that the new official World Wide Web location for CSUSM athletics will have all event press releases, scores, stats, rosters, features, and much more.

Providing the site's development and maintenance service is College Sports Online, Inc. of Forest, Virginia. Rhudy Camper is its president.

"College Sports Online is carving its niche with the smaller schools and their competitive level. We understand that type of environment." states Camper. "Given this focus, and the fact that Cal State San Marcos has been playing some of our current schools in golf and track, CSUSM most certainly had to be one of the schools that we wanted to team with. Plus, next spring, when the new baseball and softball teams will be formally competing, the Cougars will be playing our clients on occasion."

We also believe that the partnership will be advantageous in spreading the word even further about CSUSM's desire to ramp up its athletic program, while the University itself continues to grow," concludes Camper.

The Cougars Online is still a "work in progress," but nevertheless will become the place to be for CSUSM sports information, so check back frequently!
